Expectations of Lay and Ordained Missioners/Pioneers

Drawing on the work of pioneer ministry in the Church of England, Australia, New Zealand and the Episcopal Church of the USA, this paper explores different missioner roles and therefore differences in expectations of competencies. Note: Pioneer as a term does not fit with a post-colonial Canada so in the Diocese of Niagara, the label Missioner works better. To read and download the paper click here
